WHY CHOOSE US?

Why is hiring a licensed El Cajon tree trimmer so important?

When you search for a tree service company to help with your outdoor space, you likely are going to acquire a different quotes from different companies. Sometimes, the quotes may all be similarly priced—but it is also common to receive a quote that is 50% lower than others. Why the stark difference?

It may not always be the case, but it is generally seen that if a company is able to price their tree services way below their competitors, then it is possible that they are not insured and do not possess a contractor’s license. This is why it is important to check a tree company’s credentials, which can easily be found online at the California Contractors State License Board website.

Any contractor in the State of California with an active license is required to be fully insured. And since the tree service industry is full of work hazards, insurance rates can be exceptionally higher than in other industries, which is all taken into account when quotes are drafted. A tree trimmer without insurance does not have that added expense—and therefore, is able to underbid contracted and insured tree service companies.

Hiring a licensed and insured tree contractor matters because 1) tree trimming and removals is extremely dangerous and 2) a property owner can be legally held liable in the case of any accidents involving an uninsured worker on their property. So even if it means spending more, it is always recommended to err on the side of safety.

El Cajon

East County San Diego

information

El Cajon is a community in East County San Diego that is a good mixture with urban, suburban, and rural areas. It is conveniently located in between the beach and mountain regions of San Diego County.

The city derives its name from Rancho El Cajon, which is a Spanish name that means “the box” and refers to the boxed-in shape of the valley that it is situated in. In the late 19th century, it was shortened to Cajon. Then in 1905, it rested at the name that we know today—El Cajon.
