Treatments

LC Tree Service is more than just a tree-trimming and removal company. We provide expert tree health care in San Diego to help identify, treat, and manage the problems that can affect the health and longevity of your trees. In partnership with Rainbow Ecoscience, a national leader in plant health care, our team is trained and licensed to diagnose and address a wide range of tree health, pest, disease, and maintenance concerns.

Whether you’re worried about a dying or declining tree, notice signs of disease or insect infestation, or need specialized treatment to manage the growth of mature trees, LC Tree Service can help. Our goal is to develop the right treatment plan for your trees and protect your landscape investment for years to come.

Arborist consultations are also available for an additional fee when a more in-depth evaluation of your tree or trees is needed. Consultations are ideal for property owners with more serious concerns about tree health, structure, safety, or other conditions requiring the expertise of an ISA Certified Arborist.

Why hire a

Certified

Arborist?

Hiring a Certified Arborist means your trees are cared for by a professional with proven knowledge of tree biology, proper pruning techniques, pest and disease management, and tree risk assessment. An ISA Certified Arborist has completed rigorous training, passed a comprehensive examination, and stays current with the latest industry standards through continuing education.

Rather than simply cutting branches, a Certified Arborist understands how every pruning cut affects a tree’s long-term health, structure, and safety. Whether you need routine maintenance, a health evaluation, or advice on preserving mature trees, a Certified Arborist can identify problems early, recommend the right solutions, and help you avoid costly mistakes.

Investing in professional tree care not only protects your landscape but also enhances the beauty, safety, and value of your property for years to come.

SCIENTIFIC BASIS

Research for our treatments have been conducted by leading institutions, such as Purdue University, Princeton University, The Morton Arboretum, and much more. We value our clients, and we value their trust. Therefore, rather than having products that are supported by anecdotal claims, we value having a variety of treatments that are grounded in scientific research that proves their effectiveness and reliable outcomes.

EFFECTIVENESS

With certain applications, such as our nutritional boosts and growth regulator, we guarantee our results. Unfortunately, with disease, pest, and fungus treatments, a 100% elimination of the issue cannot be guaranteed. In many circumstances, we can reduce the level of infection/infestation by 80-90%, and treatments will require further applications to prevent further spreading. Detecting a health issue or infestation in the early stages is vital. In some cases, the disease or infestation can become so widespread that the tree has no chance of survival, and a removal of the tree is the only safe option.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

Our company recognizes the importance of non-toxic living and a healthy environment. Depending on the treatment plan for your trees or shrubs, many of our products are safe for the environment, safe for your plants, and safe for human and animal contact. When it comes to controlling invading tree pests, ideally, we would love to have a pesticide that is both non-toxic AND effective. Unfortunately, we have yet to encounter a product with reliable positive outcomes that we trust using with our clients. For many cases of trees under attack from insects or fungi, the only practical option is to protect the trees by utilizing pesticides or fungicides with some degree of toxicity.

We completely understand and agree with the concern in the use of hazardous ingredients, which is why we take safety measures to ensure that applications are performed to avoid unnecessary human contact and environmental dispersion. The ingredients in our pesticides and fungicides are the least toxic that could be used while still effectively controlling the pest or disease. Furthermore, instead of spraying the treatment (which can spread into the atmosphere and onto surrounding material), the treatment is performed using tree or soil injections, providing a more controlled application with minimal exposure to beneficial insects or other non-targeted creatures, and minimal to zero exposure to surrounding areas.
