HEAR FROM A HAPPY CUSTOMER

These Guys are AMAZING!

After the “Heavy Storm” that hit La Mesa about 1 pm, Ryan & Larry were there within the hour to rescue an 80′ tall multi-trunk pine tree that landed on 2 homes, puncturing the roofs.

They both provided a calming effect through the chaos of damage and understood the urgency to get the trees removed, in order to protect from further rain damage. They assessed the situation and had a crane on site within the next hour.

The crews worked fast, efficiently & courteously…with the temperature of 100+ degrees.

What stands them apart from the rest? They stayed throughout the evening & night and used their headlights to make sure EVERY branch and pine cone was cleaned up on both properties and the street. They even cleaned up areas the storm caused debris that weren’t part of their work! No corners were cut to get the job done!

All day they worked, from other jobs to this one…past 9 pm at night…with smiles on all the crew’s faces at the end of the night! Not a complaint from one of them!

Warms your heart to know there really are great companies out there!

I will recommend this company to EVERYONE!

What To Do After a Tree Falls

1.

Stay away from damaged trees

A fallen tree may still be unstable, and broken limbs can shift or fall without warning.

2.

Keep everyone away from the area

Make sure children, pets, and bystanders stay clear until the hazard has been removed.

3.

Watch for downed power lines

If the tree is touching or has brought down electrical lines, stay away and call your utility company or 911 immediately.

4.

Do not attempt to remove the tree yourself

Fallen trees are often under tremendous tension, making them extremely dangerous to cut without the proper training and equipment.

5.

Check for additional hazards

Look for cracked limbs, leaning trees, damaged utility lines, or structural damage that could pose further risks.

6.

Document any property damage

Take photos of the tree and any damage to your home, vehicles, fences, or other structures before cleanup begins.

7.

Contact your insurance company

If the tree has damaged your property, your insurance provider can explain your coverage and begin the claims process.

8.

FAQ

Frequently-Asked Questions

Can you remove a tree that has fallen on my house or property?2026-08-10T17:37:54-07:00

Yes. LC Tree Service has experience removing large and hazardous trees from homes, buildings, vehicles, and other structures. These removals often require careful planning, specialized equipment, rigging, and sometimes a crane to safely dismantle the tree while minimizing additional damage to the property.

Can you remove a tree that is touching power lines?2026-08-10T17:36:51-07:00

Trees that are in contact with or have fallen onto power lines can create extremely dangerous conditions. Never attempt to cut, move, or approach a tree that is contacting electrical lines. Utility coordination may be required before tree work can safely begin. LC Tree Service has experience coordinating with SDG&E on complex emergency tree removals involving electrical lines.

What qualifies as an emergency tree removal?2026-08-10T17:35:30-07:00

An emergency tree removal is generally needed when a tree or large limb has become an immediate safety or property hazard. This can include a tree that has fallen or is partially fallen, a severely leaning tree, large broken limbs, or a tree that has damaged or is threatening a home, vehicle, structure, or other property. Trees damaged by storms, heavy rain, or high winds may also require emergency removal.

What Should I Do If a Tree Falls On My Property?2026-08-06T17:10:22-07:00

First, stay away from the fallen tree and keep others out of the area. If the tree has fallen on power lines, assume the lines are energized and contact your utility company immediately. If there is an immediate danger to people or property, call 911.

Next, contact your homeowner’s insurance company to report the damage and begin the claims process. Taking photos of the damage before cleanup can also be helpful for your claim.

Once the area is safe, contact LC Tree Service. We’ll assess the situation, safely remove the fallen tree, and help minimize further damage to your property. We understand that tree emergencies can be stressful, so we’ll work quickly to help restore your property and get you back to normal as soon as possible.

Do You Provide Same-Day Service?2026-08-06T16:58:05-07:00

Depending on our schedule and the type of work needed, same-day service may be available. While routine tree trimming and tree removal are typically scheduled in advance, we prioritize emergency and hazardous tree situations whenever possible.

If you need immediate assistance, give us a call, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Do You Offer Emergency Tree Service?2026-08-06T17:27:35-07:00

Yes. We provide emergency tree services for hazardous trees, storm damage, fallen trees, and other situations that pose an immediate risk to people or property. If you have a tree emergency, contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll make every effort to respond quickly.
